Water is an essential element to your landscape. However, too much or too little can harm your lawn.
  • Early in the morning is the best time to water most lawns.
  • Watering during the day, much of your water can be wasted due to evaporation.
  • Running your sprinkler at night sets ideal conditions for lawn disease, mildew, fungus and insect problems.
You want deep, infrequent watering that gets into the root zone. One (1) inch per week is an ideal rule.
